10 clubs attended 1st Committe Meeting for Journey with the Blind Project at Ipoh Lions Center, AEON Big Falim.

Journey with the Blind? What is this about?
ReplyDeleteIs its true that LCIH apply for Japanese Grant - Grassroots Human Security Projects? I heard of it from someone that I know inline with it. When she mentioned about Malaysia asking me if I know where Malaysia is. Well of course I know where Malaysia and Ipoh is. Hehe
Its a joint project where we are going to have a walk about 2.4km with blind people and the others to experience the challenges they face in their everyday life by walking blindfold.
DeleteIt is a charity event where we hope to raise funds for the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB Ipoh).

We hope its a big event since we need to showcase the blind to the public.
