Im sorry Admin, apparently my friend is out of reach this Hari Raya season so I didnt able to contact her to have a good explanation about what is duit raya. Hope Admin can explain it clearly.
Duit Raya is a small donation of money given to people during the hari raya festival season. It originated with the Chinese new year where it is called ang pow. Now everybody is following it under different names.
