Leo Club of Anderson (LOA) held their AGM at their school today.

Leo Advisor P. Velupillai attended the meeting.

Foo Hon Lim Top Leo Academic Award

Foo Hon Lim Top Leo Academic Award was started 4 years ago by the family of PDG Dato Dr Foo Wan Kien in memory of his son Lion Foo Hon Lim.

This is the first time it is held in Ipoh at St Michael's Institution hall, the home town of the Foo family.

YB Howard Lee was the guest of honour. The Principal of St Michael's Institution was present and so were a few Lions district cabinet officers.

The Lions present were OC PP T. Sriskanda, President Eugene Ong, 1st Vice President R. Jeyasingam, 2nd Vice President Evonne Chen, Service Chairperson PP Peter Lip, LCIF Chairperson IPP Emily Kong, PP Ho Choon Seng, P. Velupillai, Foong Weng Yew, Leong Chyi Liang, Wilson Wong, Ong Soon Chye, Liew Shee Leong, Azrul Allwin Jefri and friends of Lions.

Installation ceremony LC Batu Gajah & Pusing Mandarin

LCIH attended the 41st and 2nd installation ceremony of Lions Club of Batu Gajah and Lions Club of Pusing Mandarin respectively.

The Lions present were President Eugene Ong, Treasurer Henna Tan, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda and son, Club Service Chairperson PP Peter Lip, Club LCIF Chairperson IPP Emily Kong, Tamer N. Rathakrishnan, P. Velupillai, Mohd Sayadi, Hadimurtimurti and a friend of Lion.

Preparation for Foo Hon Lim Award

LCIH were busy preparing for the Foo Hon Lim Awards Ceremony on Sunday at the St Micheal's Institution hall.

On hand to assist the Leos from St Micheal's Institution  were President Eugene Ong,  Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda and P. Velupillai.

The Lions Home

LCIH members took the visiting Lions from the Lions Club of Phuket and Krabi to visit the Lions Home at Bercham.

Leo Club of Main Convent Ipoh's 1st Anniversary Celebration was held at the school hall.

Lion P. Velupillai was the guest of honour representing President Eugene Ong.

Presentation of Spectacles to two deserving students

LCIH presented spectacles to two students from the Methodist Girls' School. The spectacles were presented by MGS Leo Advisor, Lion P. Velupillai on behalf of the club.

Organized by the Leo's in region 3 and 4 at St Michael's school hall.

Attended by Anderson Leo Advisor PP T. Sriskanda, AMC Leo Advisor Evonne Chen together with MGS Leo Advisors Henna Tan dan P. Velupillai.

The dialogue was held in the media room at SMK Main Convent at 2.30pm.

Packing of goodie bags

Some of the joint committee members got togather to pack the goodie bags while members of MAB set up the obstacles course.

OC Henna Tan was the first person to try the obstacles course set up by MAB.

Joint project with Leos (International Leo Day) 1.0

In conjunction with the International Leo Day and Children Day, Lions and Leo organised few activities for children from Vision Home Ipoh at AEON Big Falim. 

Activities included were movie watching (Ralph Breaks the Internet), lunch at Marrybrown and playing games. 

The Lions who attended were IPP Emily Kong and P. Velupillai.

A Mural

The Leo Club of Idris Shah Sec School drew murals on the classrooms of students with special needs at SMK Idris Shah Gopeng.

The Lions presented some stationary to the special needs children.

On hand to witness the occasion were Membership Chairperson and Chief Leo Advisor PP T. Sriskanda, Lean Siang Kai, P. Velupillai and Khairol Izam.

Graduation Ceremony of Special Needs Children of Kolej Tingkatan Enam Seri Putera

A graduation ceremony was held at Tower Regency Hotel & Apartments for special needs children from Kolej Tingkatan Enam Seri Putera.

LCIH sponsered the lunch for these children.

The Lion members who attended this function were President Eugene Ong, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, IPP Emily Kong, Lakhmer Singh and P. Velupillai.

Pediatric Cancer Project at MGS.

LCIH held its Pediatric Cancer Project at the MGS.

The main speaker was Dato' Dr. Amar Singh.

Diabetes Day at MGS

Lcih togather with Staff from Yet Kai Hospital held a diabetes screening for teachers of the Methodist Girls School at the school premises.

35 teachers attended the screening.
