Its a rare idea. We have 1 here in Aruba. A very good move to educate those Leos and it will benefit others too.
All comments are saying good great and amazing, yes you are. But im going to say, SMART MOVE Lions Club of Ipoh Host and Leo Club of Idris Shah Sec School. ;)
Ahh i should know it is a school based Leos, its in the name "Leo Club of Idris Shah Sec School" not campus Leos. Very good they realize they can make a difference.
They should store this memories in a good place. In 5, 10, 20 years from now they should revisit this place again. Its going to be one of a good chapter from their school days. Good job.
Good that you guys support the Leos to start it at young age. Hopefully theyll continue to serve no matter where they going to after they finish their secondary education.
After they finish their secondary education. Wow Konrad, you seem to be familiar about education system in Malaysia?
I think SIS leos should also have their own social platform to encourage student to join/participate or reach them for help too. Cause sometime, people are shy.
Yes Sangeetha, i was a student in Malaysia 19 years ago. Still keep in touch with my fellow classmate.
I still remember my bahasa. "Ape kabar korang?" Haha
Maybe when I come back to Ipoh, Admin, Mr. TSK, Mr. President EO or Mr. NR can show me the Lion Millenium Capsule or allow me to join them on Soup Kitchen one day. Can it? ;)
Wow never heard of lro centre.
ReplyDeleteWhats the purpose of it if I may ask?
Btw. Congratulations!!
Thanks Sangeeta.
DeleteThe Leo Service Centre with an aid box will enable the leos to aid those who need assistance in the school.
Thats look fun!!
ReplyDeleteYes, how will the centre work? Idris Shah Leos look amazing with this.
Roarrr
Its a service centre. First of its kind in the region Leo Issac.
DeleteThe students of SMK Idris Shah can request for aid from the Leos.
Maybe with this more student will become a Leo. Smart move SIS leos!

ReplyDeleteWho is their advisor by the way?
Yes Micky. Idris Shah Sec. School is quiet far from where the rest of the Leos are located.
DeleteTSK is their main advisor.
LSK is the other.
I think TSK is the advisor. Correct me if im wrong.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Lions and Leos. Make good use of it.
You are right J. Its your and Sams' favourite Lion who is the main advisor. He is now also chief advisor to all 6 Leo clubs under LCIH.

ReplyDeleteWe too hope the Leos spirit will roar for all to see and hear Oimin.
DeleteWow what inspire this? They start it young, good for them.
ReplyDeleteDont forget to remind them to continue to grow as a Lion someday.
Basically the prominance given to the Leo Club by the school for the good deeds carried by the Leos, Jewels.
DeleteSo once they were given the room the Leos decided to put the room to good use. So the Centre was born.
Ahh i should know it is a school based Leos, its in the name "Leo Club of Idris Shah Sec School" not campus Leos. Very good they realize they can make a difference.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry Wan Y. Yes they are growing up fast.
DeleteThey must be famous and very good behave club in school. Good for them!
ReplyDeleteYes Vivian, they are all well behaved and also very active.

ReplyDeleteI think SIS leos should also have their own social platform to encourage student to join/participate or reach them for help too. Cause sometime, people are shy.
One step at a time Sangeeta.
DeleteLet the students slowly get on with their centre.
As lions we sometimes need to give them some space to develope.
Yes Sangeetha, i was a student in Malaysia 19 years ago. Still keep in touch with my fellow classmate.
ReplyDeleteI still remember my bahasa. "Ape kabar korang?" Haha
Maybe when I come back to Ipoh, Admin, Mr. TSK, Mr. President EO or Mr. NR can show me the Lion Millenium Capsule or allow me to join them on Soup Kitchen one day. Can it? ;)
Wow Konrad. You were from Ipoh!
DeletePlease contact us and we can take you around Ipoh so that you can see the changes and also do and see the things you wanted to do and see.
