Recce for Environmental Project

The following members went for a recce and visited the bank of Kinta River for the Lions Environmental Project this coming Wednesday.

Donation to Mr. Jawahar Nheru

LCIH again visited the fly of Mr. Jawahar Nheru a/l Appu and donated provisions to them.

Jawahar Nehru's home in Sungai Siput is about 30km from Ipoh

Presentation of goodie bags to students and Leos

LCIH presented goodie bags to the boarding students of SK Ulu Geruntum  while the Leos of Idris Shah presented old children clothes to the said students.

Present were President Eugene Ong, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Chairperson IPP Emily Kong, Mohd Sayadi, Leong Chyi Liang, Lean Siang Kai and Khairul Izam.

Presentation of Renovated Stage and 2 fans to SK Ulu Geruntum

LCIH presented a renovated stage and two heavy duty fans for the use of the school hall. The school hall is use to hold multiple event for the students.

Presentation of Water Dispenser to SMK Idris Shah

8 Lions, President Eugene Ong, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Chairperson IPP Emily Kong, Mohd Sayadi, Leong Chyi Liang, Lean Siang Kai, Wilson Wong and Khairul Izam attended the presentation ceremony at SMK Idris Shah.

On hand to receive the water dispenser was the Principle Mr. Sharifuddin together with Leo Teacher Advisor and Leos.

Presentation of cheque to Shen Jai School library fund

LCIH donated RM10,000.00 to the school.

This money was donated to LCIH.

Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent 38th Anniversary Celebration

Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent 38th Anniversary Celebration was held at Mdm Pauline Hall in the school.

The Lions who attended were Ave Maria Convent Leo Advisors Evonne Chen and N. Rathakrishnan together with PP Chin Yang Ming.

President Eugene Ong was the guest of honour.

Donation to Kamaleswaran

Donation of RM1,800.00 to needy student Kamaleswaran a/l Kannan from The Salvation Army Boys’ Home who is pursuing his studies in Bachelor of Technology Management at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. LCIH held a meeting with Kinta Riverfront Hotel to discuss about joint project on 1st May, 2019 in conjunction with Lions Environmental Days.

Blood Pressure Check

LCIH and the Family Health Planning held a blood pressure check up at Masjid Kpg Paloh.

About 85 people participated in this project.

Incoming President Evonne Chen held an informal meeting with her Secretary N. Rathakrishnan and treasurer Emily Kong and others at Classic Corner, Ipoh City and Country Club. 

54th installation has been fixed on 14th July, 2019.
